Just about 2...

I have too many favorites from this session!! I got so many great smiles from this little guy! He was on the move through the whole session and we had a blast.

I have never met a child who likes sports and balls as much as this little guy! He loves football :)

On the move!

I just love these running photos, cute!

Don't let these pretty green pictures deceive you :) It was surprisingly cold that morning, and windy! We stuck through it though and had a ton of fun. Every picture was worth being out in the cold!

This little guy is just too cute! I love his outfit, his hair and his big blue eyes. He didn't want his photo taken.... but I still had fun with him and surprisingly we got some cute shots.

Beth, Gabriel, and Ivan

I loved this session, and I loved this location! I also loved that we did it early this morning... what a perfect time for photos. This family was so easy going and they had so much fun together. They weren't camera shy one bit and that made my job so easy! I loved it all so much that I've been glued to the computer editing these photos all day.... well not ALL day....

I have to start with my favorite photo.... this is the moment that I just wait for during a session. Look how much they love their little boy, so sweet!

I also have to end with a favorite, I LOVE this photo... look at those beautiful eyes! (and his cute shoes :)) What a sweet moment.

Thanks so much for such a fun session!

Clegg Botanical Gardens

I was in heaven today! I took my kids to the Clegg Botanical Gardens and we had a blast. I was born and raised in Utah and I miss the mountains, trails, and just enjoying nature. Escaping to the mountains is not something you can do in Indiana, but this was wonderful! My kids loved every minute and my 3 year old Evan just hiked up those trails like a pro :) It's good to see that in him. After we hiked all morning I got down on my hands and knees and snapped some photos of the flowers.... it was worth every grass stain :) I decided that I need a macro lens... that would be fabulous! I might be going back tomorrow for a photos shoot, but I am not certain yet... if not tomorrow then definitely soon.

Fix-it Friday #49

I had some fun today with i heart faces' Fix-it Friday. I edited the photo slightly and then had fun with Pioneer Women's Actions. Here is what I did...

Original:

In Photoshop I adjusted the levels just a touch and then sharpened the image slightly. Then I used the clone stamp to remove the lint on her pants. Then I added some actions :)

 Colorized PW action...

Fresh and Colorful PW action....

BW Beauty PW action...

I really love this photo... such a cute little girl posed just right! I didn't feel that it needed much done to fix it. The thing that I noticed about it was that the focus is on the doll rather than the girl's face. It's always good to focus on your subjects eyes :) That is why I sharpened it a touch and I think that helped a little. It was also fun to add some actions. Which is your favorite? I can't decided... but I do love a good black and white photo :)
