I loved this session, and I loved this location! I also loved that we did it early this morning... what a perfect time for photos. This family was so easy going and they had so much fun together. They weren't camera shy one bit and that made my job so easy! I loved it all so much that I've been glued to the computer editing these photos all day.... well not ALL day....

I have to start with my favorite photo.... this is the moment that I just wait for during a session. Look how much they love their little boy, so sweet!

I also have to end with a favorite, I LOVE this photo... look at those beautiful eyes! (and his cute shoes :)) What a sweet moment.

Sun Flare

Today at iheartfaces there is a tutorial on creating sun flare, I am having tons of fun with this!! I am still learning and there are things that I need to fix, but I wanted to share a few that I've done...

The "C" Family

I am really excited about these photos! I took my friends family photos on Saturday and we had a lot of fun :) I get really nervous before I do a photo shoot, but by the time I get to the location the nerves are gone and I enjoy every minute.

Worth one shot

Today I took my little family out with the hope of getting some portraits of my kids. My son is going to be 3 this next week and my daughter will be 18 months. I was really discouraged because I didn't get what I wanted and then my kids got tired and I knew we were done for the day. But after I loaded the photos to my computer I could see that it was all worth it for this one shot...

This is my husband and my daughter and I just love this little moment that I captured between them :)

I guess I just had to be patient... it takes a lot of not so great photos to get the one you want.

Meet Kim and Brandon :) These two are so much fun! I was so so nervous for this shoot because they are both very talented photographers, check out their blog :) I had so much fun on this shoot, Kim knew where all the good places were and she knew exactly what she wanted. All I had to do was take the picture. I didn't have to worry about posing or trying to get a little one to hold still (don't get me wrong- I LOVE the little ones:)). This was such a good opportunity to work with an experienced photographer, thanks Kim! I am so glad that you trusted me to take these pictures...

My first family shoot :) These were so much fun! It was hard to narrow down my favorites... but here they are. We found some great spots for the pictures with some fun colors. Brielle is just adorable, and I love her bright blue eyes. I learned so much from this shoot! I now have tons of ideas for my next family shoot. Thanks Holly for letting me practice! You have a cute family :)
